IHI Zittau: Biodiversity and Responsible Management!

IHI Zittau offers exclusively master's degree programs on the topics of biodiversity, biotechnology, ecosystem services, and responsible, sustainable, and international management. Some of the degree programs are offered entirely in English, others are basically taught in German with some English content. Biotechnology and Applied Ecology

International Management

Cooperative program with	University of Applied Sciences Zittau/Görlitz
Degree	Master of Science
Duration	4 semesters (2 years)
Languages of instruction	German and English (studying a double degree with TU Liberec allows students to choose up to 100% English-taught courses!)
Admission requirements	Bachelor (at least 6 semesters!) in economic sciences
Courses at	Zittau, optionally additional courses at TU Liberec or in an semester abroad at international partner universities
Double Degrees	with TU Liberec (free choice of modules, all courses in Liberec are English-taught!), University of Pardubice (semester abroad, all courses English-taught) or Andrássy University Budapest (2 semesters abroad, German-taught).

Organismic and Molecular Biodiversity

Our campuses - your places of study

You're invited to a virtual trip with IHI's students Alexandra and Sammy: Get acquainted with our campus at Zittau and visit our partners at Görlitz and Liberec!

The "mother ship" of your studies is the main building of IHI Zittau on the historic Zittau market. Here you will find your contact persons from student administration and science and here (as well as at several other locations within walking distance in the city center of Zittau) most of the courses take place (except for Organismic and Molecular Biodiversity, where the majority of courses take place in Görlitz and Dresden). The biotechnology laboratories, where much of the study of Biotechnology and Applied Ecology takes place, are located in the main building as well as on the outskirts of Zittau.

Other study locations:

•  For Ecosystem Services and Organismic and Molecular Biodiversity: some courses take place at collections of the Senckenberg Museum für Naturkunde Görlitz as well as at locations of the faculties of Biology and Environmental Sciences in Dresden and Tharandt - the semester ticket makes moving between campuses possible without additional financial effort!   
• For International Management: optional double degree study at the Central European Campus Neisse/Nisa with the TU Liberec or an semester abroad at one of our international partner universities.
