MATLAB is a usable programming environment for numerical calculations and data analysis for engineering and other disciplines. At the end of last year, the contract with the Free State of Saxony was extended for five years. Therefore, in addition to MATLAB, the Simulink tool and all extensions are available free of charge at our university.

MATLAB Grader is a special platform that is used to assess programming skills and test concepts in MATLAB. Tasks created with it can now also be easily integrated into OPAL. To do this, select the new version 1.3 in the "LTI Tool" course element in OPAL and the "TUD MatlabGrader" tool. Finally, all you have to do is assign the desired task in the course view, which students can then work on in OPAL.
