Introducing the School
Engineering Sciences at the TU Dresden enjoys an excellent reputation: More than 8,100 students are registered in the Faculties of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Science and Mechanical Science and Engineering. Almost 2,000 employees in 40 institutes and centers contribute daily to the success of Dresden’s engineering sciences. A testimony to this success is the high volume of third-party funds: the School of Engineering Sciences attracts an average of 100 million Euros annually—which corresponds to about 40% of the total third party funding at the TU Dresden.
