Mrs. Sick-Glaser, Chairwoman of the Board of Trustees, is the daughter of the founder of SICK AG, Dr. Erwin Sick. SICK Engineering GmbH in Ottendorf-Okrilla belongs to Sick AG.
Endowment: A total of 10,000 euros (annually), a total of over 120,000 euros transferred directly to students from TU Dresden.
In awarding the Gisela and Erwin Sick Foundation's young talent prizes, particular emphasis is placed on progress for science, understanding of measurement technology systems and the relevance of the research results for practical measurement tasks.
