Website at the Chair for Software Technology
Ronny Seiger has been a research assistant at the Junior Professorship in Software Engineering of Ubiquitous Systems within the research projects VICCI and DynAPSys from February 2012 to April 2015. He received his Diploma in computer science from Technische Universität Dresden in November 2011. His research interests include workflows and processes, Cyber-physical Systems, Internet of Things, robotics, distributed systems and software engineering. During his research activities, he was responsible for developing a flexible process execution environment for Cyber-physical Systems. Additional research topics include multi-modal interactions, ERP systems and middleware technologies for the Internet of Things. In his PhD thesis, Ronny Seiger investigates workflows for Cyber-physical systems. During his studies, he has been a student assistance whithin the projects Theseus/Texo and FlexCloud at the chair for computer networks. In addition, he has been a working student and thesis student within the new business development department at T-Systems Multimedia Solutions GmbH. Since 2015, Ronny Seiger is member of the Software Technology group at TU Dresden. He is also a part time lecturer for object-oriented programming and application at Berufsakademie Dresden (University of Cooperative Education).
