Versuchsanlage zur Niedertemperaturpyrolyse
pilot plant for low temperature pyrolysis of remnants descend from waste and biomass, including afterburning of product gas
The Chair for Combustion, Heat and Mass Transfer has been operating a low temperature pyrolysis reactor since 2008. Numerous investigations on thermal behavior of materials under exclusion of oxygen have been made.
Up to now the main objective of the projects was the extraction of certain groups of substances out of the material to be pyrolysed, which was successfully implemented with the available facility configuration. In the framework of the projects, interim and final reports were made for the funding institution.
