Working group meetings of the AGTurbo in Dresden
AG Turbo is the German platform for innovative turbomachinery research. Its participants meet every six months at different locations in Germany for working group meetings, where they discuss the progress of research in publicly funded joint projects.
At the beginning of October, the participants of the AGTurbo working groups "Expansion", "Cooling", "Combustion" and "Compression" were invited to Dresden. Together with the Institute of Energy Technology TUD IET (Head: Dr.-Ing. Jäger), the Institute of Mechatronic Mechanical Engineering TUD IMD (Head: Prof. Dr. rer. Nat. habil. Odenbach) and the Institute of Fluid Mechanics TUD ISM (Head: Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Mailach), we welcomed over 160 guests to the TU Dresden.
The Institute of Lightweight Engineering and Polymer Technology is currently involved in the project "Turbomachinery for Hydrogen Technologies - TurboHyTec". The current status of work in work package 1.2 "Impellers and rotors for hydrogen compression - LaRoW" was presented by Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Maik Gude to the participants.
We would like to thank the numerous members of the AGTurbo who took part in the working group meetings at the beginning of October and engaged in intensive technical discussions with us. Our special thanks also go to the organizers of the AGTurbo and the other participating TUD institutes.
