The Chair introduces itself
Aircraft of the future will have to meet significantly higher requirements in terms of both ecological and economic efficiency. The work at the Chair of Aircraft Engineering addresses these challenges. It ranges from the investigation of unconventional aircraft configurations, the development of quick calculation methods, and damage tolerance investigations to the design and optimization of new structural concepts, and manufacturing methods.
