Research aircraft Diamond DA62 MPP
A twin-engine Diamond DA 62 MPP (multi-purpose platform) will be available at the Chair of Aircraft Engineering from Q4 2025 as a technology carrier platform and for testing alternative propulsion systems. Dresden University of Technology is setting another milestone in research into climate-friendly aviation! The Institute of Aerospace Engineering (ILR) and the Institute of Lightweight Structures and Polymer Technology (ILK) at TU Dresden acquired the research aircraft as part of a challenging public tender process.
