The Production of Ethyl Acetate by Kluyveromyces marxianus

The project contains the optimization of all need parameters in order to know the bioprocess and to achieve the highest ethyl acetate production. The research worked is focused on following main objectives:

• Cultivation of Kluyveromyces marxianus in different types of culture (batch, fed-batch etc.) in order to know how different types of cultivation effect to ethyl acetate production and investigation of correlative behavior between processing parameters (aeration rate, agitation speed etc.), the biomass production.
• Scale-up into a high volume of bioreactor in order to develop the bioprocess and to achieve the highest ethyl acetate production.
