Career-related continuing education at the TUD opens up many ways to deepen or expand your own skills in a targeted manner - even without a regular course of study. Our courses are open to anyone interested in advancing their career, specializing in a particular subject or simply gaining new perspectives.

Brief description
The Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences at TU Dresden offers the Building Information Modeling (BIM) in Transportation module as an online continuing education course. The program provides a basic introduction to BIM and deals with scientific standards and the systematics of digitizing the planning, construction and maintenance of transport infrastructure.
Target group
The program is aimed at employees of companies, authorities, engineering offices and other institutions who work in the field of transport and would like to expand their knowledge of digital planning and construction.

Fees: The participation fee is 300 EUR.
Course schedule
The course takes place in the summer semester from April to July and comprises a lecture of 90 minutes per week and an accompanying exercise of 90 minutes per week.
Brief description
The TUDn's Center for International Postgraduate Studies of Environmental Management (CIPSEM) offers the UNEP/UNESCO/BMUKN education program for specialists and managers in government and administration as well as non-governmental organizations in developing and emerging countries. In addition to in-depth theoretical training, the program offers a variety of excursions and opportunities for intensive exchange. After successfully completing the six-month course, participants receive a Postgraduate Diploma in Environmental Management. Target group
The program is designed for specialists and managers working in the environmental sector from developing and emerging countries.

Program
Each year there is a six-month long course covering a comprehensive range of topics, as well as three short courses lasting several weeks on selective environmental topics.
The working language of all CIPSEM environmental management courses is English. The six-month main course on holistic environmental management comprises various modules covering a wide range of environmental aspects. The second course model consists of three different short courses, each lasting four weeks. In addition to the theoretical training, a large number of excursions are carried out.
The DIU is an affiliated partner of the TU Dresden University of Technology and has been synonymous with state-recognized, non-profit, accredited continuing higher education for over 20 years.
The university offers personal support, excellent teaching, and a lively network of science and practice, as well as modular, agile, and digital study formats.
In the Management & Legal, Engineering & Technology, and Life Science departments, students develop future skills in national and international programs.
