The TUDAG Group is a private-sector association of companies. The core tasks of the companies is the transfer of knowledge from science to industry. The aim is to support industry in the development of new technologies and innovative products, but also to transfer the wishes/requirements of industry to science. The TUDAG Group also offers comprehensive services for the training of highly qualified personnel.

Hundreds of scientists, engineers, project managers and lecturers in the TUDAG Group realize individual innovations along the entire value chain. In doing so, they work closely in interdisciplinary teams with scientists from the TUD Dresden University of Technology and other scientific institutions.
The long-term goal is for the group to achieve a total output of € 100 million
.The group is headquartered at the World Trade Center Dresden.
The shareholder of TUDAG is the "Gesellschaft von Freunden und Förderern der TU Dresden e.V.". The Society of Friends supports research and teaching at TU Dresden with the profits from the TUDAG Group.
