The aim of the project is the development of novel technologies for the fabrication of complex scaffolds for the reconstructive medicine. The fibre-based, additive Net-Shape Nonwoven technology should be combined with an extrusion-based 3D printing technology (3D plotting) to allow the simultaneous processing of different biomaterials – different with respect to chemical composition as well as physical shape, consistency and structure – within one construct. Therewith, different functions should be combined in one construct, gradations e.g. on structural level should be realized within a scaffold and specific features should be locally integrated.
