Raising entrepreneurs' resilience through recovery: Study Participants wanted
As part of a new transCampus project, the Chair of Work and Organizational Psychology at TU Dresden is currently studying recovery strategies that are perceived as particularly helpful by entrepreneurs and solo self-employed workers. In an online survey, the team wants to determine which recovery strategies entrepreneurs already successfully integrate into their daily work routine. Based on the findings, an intervention to strengthen the mental health of entrepreneurs will be developed.
The past two years have been particularly challenging for entrepreneurs and solo self-employed workers, not only in economic terms, but often also in terms of personal and health-related issues. In a current study, a team led by Dr. Dominika Wach from the Chair of Work and Organizational Psychology at the TU Dresden now wants to record what entrepreneurs and solo self-employed workers do to strengthen their own resilience. To this end, the team has set up an online survey (max. 15 minutes) aimed at solo self-employed persons and owners of small and medium-sized enterprises with up to 250 employees. The questionnaire examines, among other things, stress, satisfaction, recovery as a protective factor of mental health and recovery strategies at work and in leisure time. Participants are currently still being sought.
Based on the data obtained, an intervention for strengthening the mental health of entrepreneurs will be developed. All participants can request a summary of suitable recovery interventions and support for their everyday work as well as a free evaluation of the study results.
