- "Early Bird" or "Late Bird?"
I am still in the transformation process to early bird. In the meantime, I manage to start on time: I make myself aware of the steps I need to take, create a schedule for my writing project, and get to work highly motivated. However, I also tend to throw my schedule overboard again relatively quickly - if a topic really excites me, I like to spend more time on it than I should... Fortunately, as the time pressure increases, it becomes easier for me to focus on the really important aspects again.

- "Early Bird" or "Late Bird?"
As a Late Bird, my brain functions optimally at 2am under pressure. Best with an enormous amount of black tea and the - ideally - manageable chaos in front of me. I threw the plan out the window a long time ago, flexible milestones and result-oriented work still ensure my success.

- "Early Bird" or "Late Bird?"
A year or two ago I made what was for me at the time a far-reaching discovery: I am an early bird who has been trapped in the body of a late bird all my life. Since then I have been working on the following problem: When I get up in the morning (early!), I wake up quickly and have my most productive phase, super focused and focussed. But is that why I always get up early? I'm still working on that...

- "Early bird" or "late bird"?
Early or late bird? I think of myself more as a stressed afternoon duck. My internal clock is two minutes slow. Either 100% procrastination or 16-hour shift without a coffee break. To keep the acute stress phase as short as possible, I work out structures in advance and stick to a tight schedule. That way, there's still a buffer for creative chaos and I still manage to finish before the deadline. At the end of each writing project, I reward myself with a little downtime.

- "Early Bird" or "Late Bird?"
Why not both? I meticulously plan out my projects in advance before ignoring them with absolute consistency until only adrenaline and mate can help me meet deadlines. Fortunately, I don't have my most creative moments until the last of the daylight is gone anyway. Unfortunately, I usually miss these moments because I'm already asleep.
