- Coordination & team management
- Qualification of writing tutors/ student writing consultants
- Coordination of cooperation with teachers
- Advice for lecturers
- Conducting courses for students
- I studied: Applied Cultural Studies (M.A.); then further training as a writing consultant
- I attach particular importance to this in consulting: writing in a university context is a very demanding and complex matter, and there are no one-size-fits-all solutions. We work together to develop what will help you individually
- Favorite place to write: My tidy desk with a large monitor.
- Favoritewriting time: I have the most peace and quiet and energy to think and write hard from around 7:30 in the morning.
- My biggest challenge when writing is to really concentrate on the work on my text and, for example, to exclude ideas that have nothing to do with it or to resist the urge to check my emails.
-
When I'm not busy writing/reading: I like to do yoga in my free time.
- My tip: Allow time for revision so that your text can take shape before you put on the overly critical glasses.

- Coordination and realization of offers for female students and international students as part of the ESF-funded network project "STUDY SMART", starting April 2024
- Expert on questions about AI & academic writing
- I studied: Linguistics, Literature and Cultural Studies (English and German Studies, B.A.), European Languages (M.A.), in progress: Communication Psychology and Management (M.A.)
- I attach particular importance to this in consulting: I place a lot of value on exchange. Even after many years of working at the writing center, there are still new and exciting things about writing that I don't know and I always learn something new in a consultation.
- Favorite topics in writing consultations: text feedback and academic language
- Favorite place to write: my armchair, comes with cat by default
- Favorite writing time: at night, after midnight
- My biggest writing challenge is: time management
- My tip: Talking about it with others really helps - no matter what it's about. And writing is also part of it.

- Project implementation "'Startklar?! Core competencies of academic writing, research and thinking for successful studies" in cooperation with the Institute of Media and Communication
- Contact person for inclusion & accessibility at the Writing Center
- Contact person for the interface "academic writing at school"
- I studied: B.A. SLK German & Romance Studies; M.A. European Languages
- I attach particular importance to this in consulting: In a consultation, I attach great importance to understanding what my counterpart is working on and which working methods have proven successful for him or her. If I know what makes you tick, I can adapt my consulting strategy and the overall atmosphere to your needs. The most important thing for me, however, is not to release anyone from the consultation until I have the feeling that my counterpart has a clear head again.
- Favorite place to write: Somewhere where I can spread out my material or listen to music, have light background noise and stay late at night.
- Favoritewriting time: I can usually think best after 6 p.m., then I like to stay in the flow until late at night.
- My biggest challenge when writing is: I find literary work very exhausting - reading, writing down and reproducing everything. I'm also most motivated when I have unanswered questions. So if I "only" have to write down what I've already found out, I find it difficult to get myself together and stay on task.
- My tip: Be open to improving yourself. Nobody does everything perfectly. Get feedback, learn from others. Choose the room where you are the dumbest person rather than the room where you are the smartest.

- Writing consultancy
- Coordination of writing consultation and editing/proofreading
- Conducting courses for students
- Collaboration in the "Startklar?!" project
- I studied: Literature, Culture and Societal Change (M.A.)
- I attach particular importance to this in counseling: that the person seeking advice has the feeling that he or she can think freely about everything that concerns him or her when writing and can also articulate this in conversation.
- Favorite place to write: Sometimes my desk at home, mainly because of the familiar surroundings; sometimes a library, mainly because of the other people.
- Favorite writing time: mornings
- My biggest writing challenge: Things that simply have to be done. My biggest motivation on the other side are questions that are still unanswered. If I feel like I know for sure where all my writing is going, I usually find it harder to write.
- My tip: talk about writing. Any conversation, no matter how serious or fun, can help you move forward with your writing project.

- Writing advice
- Support in the organization of the continuing education program for teachers
- Support in the evaluation
- Collaboration in the "Startklar?!" project
- Collaboration in the KI AG of the SZD
- I studied: Sociology (M.A.)
- I attach particular importance to this in my consultations: For me, a consultation is successful if we have found new approaches for your writing process together or if we agree at the end that your current way of working is already working really well. I always try to understand you as a writer first.
- Favourite topics in writing consultations: text feedback, planning the writing process, self-organization
- Favorite writing space: A place where I can go back and forth while explaining my own thoughts out loud.
- My biggest writing challenge: Silencing my inner critic.
- My tip: Don't be ashamed to show your text to others! Yes, texts are very personal and yes, sometimes they can be quite chaotic. But you don't have to be embarrassed at any point, because we're all like that.

- Writing advice
- Workshops for students
- I studied: Psychology (M.Sc.), Computer Science (Diploma)
- I attach particular importance to this in counseling: Above all, it is important to me that you feel comfortable and understood. If you leave with new ideas, new courage and/or perhaps even a concrete plan, I believe the consultation was a complete success.
- Favourite topics in writing consultations: Time management and self-organization, procrastination, dealing with writing inhibitions
- Favoriteplace to write: My own desk with a second screen.
- Favorite writing time: mornings from 9 a.m.
- My biggest challenge when writing is not getting lost in the details.
- My tip: Ideally, get feedback on individual parts of the text early on in the writing process. An external person can give you feedback on whether your text is written in a way that readers can understand.
