Which exchange programs are available to me?
Every stay abroad needs an exchange place and funding. Some programs (such as Erasmus+) already include both. If this is not the case, the exchange place and funding need to be organized individually. On Service4Mobility, you can find an overview of worldwide exchange opportunities.
ERASMUS+ in Europe and worldwide
With the ERASMUS program, you can spend short or long-term stays in Europe and worldwide.
TUDworldwide
How about a stay in Africa, Asia or America? See the world during your studies, get to know new cultures and live and learn in a foreign environment - all this is possible with TUDworldwide!
International faculty cooperations
In addition to Erasmus+ and TUDworldwide, there are also international faculty cooperations with partner universities all over the world. Just take a look at your faculty's website!
Individual stays
You can of course plan an individual stay abroad that is not included in any of our exchange programs. We will be happy to support you. Find out more about how to organize your stay as a free mover.
How can I finance my stay abroad?
There are various funding opportunities and programs that can help you finance your stay abroad. You can find out which requirements must be met and what exactly is funded on our information pages.

How do I apply?
Depending on the exchange program you have chosen, you will need to apply to the respective coordinator in your faculty or at the International Office. For some programs, you apply for your exchange places at your faculty, while applying for funding via the International Office. The respective contact persons, application modalities and deadlines can be found on the corresponding information pages of the various programs and cooperations. Make sure to give yourself plenty of time to prepare and to keep the application deadlines in mind. We recommend that you start planning your stay abroad at least one year in advance.
Information events
We offer various information events in the winter and summer semesters. Registration is not necessary.
