Service for schools, teachers and scientists
Table of contents
The School Contact Office at TU Dresden acts as a central interface between the university and the school world. It serves as a point of contact for schools, teachers and academics when it comes to topics that connect the two educational institutions.
We support teachers:
- with the organization of school visits to TU Dresden
- with insights into current research for school classes and teachers
- in the organization of vocational orientation at your school
- in networking with other schools
Depending on your needs, we can direct you to the appropriate contact persons at TU Dresden (e.g. to faculties or service offers).
We support academics
- in establishing contact with schools
- bringing science and research topics to schools and getting students excited about them
- to connect the worlds of school and university through joint projects

School networks
TU Dresden supports schools within various networks with themed offers for students and teachers:
- Regular (digital) events are held for students from MINT-EC schools. TU Dresden also awards 10 MINT-EC scholarships once a year. We invite teachers from Saxony's MINT-EC schools to an exchange at TU Dresden twice a year. To the offers for MINT-EC
- TU Dresden is a member of the "MINT Zukunft schaffen!" network and thus also supports STEM-friendly and digital schools with STEM formats for students. The last award ceremony took place on September 10 in the Fritz-Foerster-Bau at TU Dresden.
- Climate schools and other schools with a focus on sustainability can find a wide range of offers on the ESD offers for schools website
- TU Dresden also concludes cooperation agreements with schools with which it works particularly closely. Further information on the offers for network schools
