Press Office
The Press Office team communicates key news from research, teaching and university happenings to the media and the general public. We respond to media inquiries and direct people to the appropriate experts for interviews and briefing sessions. When it comes to science communication, we work closely with the Social Media team and our colleagues who work in public relations in decentralized areas of TU Dresden. The Press Office drafts and publishes university-wide publications such as the TU Dresden image brochure, the TUD supplement to the Sächsische Zeitung newspaper, and the Student Newsletter. The Press Office belongs to Directorate 7 - Communication and Marketing.

Do you need a translation of a German text into English? Or from English into German? Are you preparing a text for an international audience and require support? Then please don't hesitate to contact us at:
Our services for the staff of TUD include the translation of press releases, websites and marketing texts, as well as circular letters, letters of reference, PowerPoint presentations and the proofreading of English texts that were not written by native speakers. In addition, we support the uniform application of English terms and phrases at the university.
