ADIOS2 (ADaptable Input/Output System) provides an adaptable, scalable, and unified framework to aid scientific applications in their data transfer needs going beyond file input/output (IO) storage. It simplifies management of massive data sets, while utilizing underlying hardware efficiently and with minimal overhead.
ADIOS2 is written in C++11 and started providing bindings for Python, C, Fortran and Matlab.
