UniMCI
A common problem of the Message Passing Interface (MPI) is that it only enables the usage of one tool at a time. As a result it is not easily possible to combine tools like VampirTrace and Marmot. The Universial MPI Correctness Interface (UniMCI) defines how MPI tools can use correctness checking functionality without suffering from this problem. This interface provides API calls to check MPI calls for their correctness while being independent of the actual implementation of the inteface.
