Registering Courses with the ZQA

Registering for courses at the ZQA and requesting the required questionnaires takes place through the designated person responsible for the evaluations by using a Registration Form for the winter semester of 2024/25 until the 8th of November, 2024. To ensure a seamless process, it is imperative that the ZQA receives information about the title and type of the course, the predicted number of students in the course, the names of the instructors, and their email addresses for the purpose of delivering the survey results.

At the beginning of the semester the deans, the spokesmen and spokeswomen of the various subject areas and of the student council, and the coordination office for foreign language education receive a message from the prorector for education of the TU Dresden. The course evaluations for the new semester are announced in this message, alongside information about important deadlines and new features.

At the beginning of the semester, the persons responsible for the evaluation from the individual structural units also receive a message from the ZQA, which contains additional information about the organization and the procedure of the course evaluation. This message is supplemented with the schedule and a registration form for the courses to be evaluated.

The following information is gathered in the registration form:

• required questionnaire types
• list of the individual courses (detailed statements about the course, the instructor and the predicted number of students)
• desired form of processing the results (with or without an average for comparison, type of labels for the courses)
• the overall evaluations required for the individual institutional units
