P10: Knowledge, Attitudes and Behavioral Dispositions towards Sustainable Energies and Energy Infrastructure
The dissertation investigates the existing knowledge, attitudes and behavioural dispositions of the general population and relevant stakeholders toward energy technologies in general and sustainable energies in particular as well as the usage of energy technologies. Causal connections between these three constructs as well as the influence of further variables, for example education, income or value patterns are examined. Representative population surveys and the analysis of both PR documents and media content form the empirical core of the project. Because at least five of the involved dissertation projects require such empirical data, this project has a central relevance as “service-module” for the research training group.
