The »Zentrum für Baukultur Sachsen« (ZfBK) in the Kulturpalast at the Altmarkt Dresden is an established forum for disseminating the topics and projects of the Faculty of Architecture to the public. With stimulating exhibitions and an accompanying programme (guided tours, lectures, live streams, workshops for children and young people, film series, citizens' dialogues, experimental formats), the ZfBK in Dresden's city centre provides the interested public with everything to do with building culture and building art. The focus is on comprehensibility in order to make explicit the interconnections between local/regional phenomena and problems, contexts and issues beyond them.
As a founding actor, the Faculty of Architecture at the TU Dresden has been part of this from the very beginning. The faculty is granted at least one exhibition period per year. In the past, both the organised students and various professorships and cooperations from landscape architecture and architecture showed their projects there (archive: www.zfbk.de/veranstaltungen/#archiv).
Dr.-Ing. Felix Greiner-Petter (Professur für Darstellungslehre) represents the Faculty of Architecture as a stakeholder in the ZfBK's programme commission. You can address your ideas and requests for possible projects to him. You will receive answers to questions about dates, exhibition possibilities, technical equipment and support from the ZfBK. An exhibition calendar and planning documents for the exhibition space will be sent in response to specific enquiries.
