The team of initiators for the building research center "LAB - Living Art of Building" cordially invites you to a press conference on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Cube Einsteinstr. 12 in Dresden on the topic of

"Building research - engine for Germany's future!"

with Prof. Dr.-Ing. Dr.-Ing. E. h. Manfred Curbach, spokesman for the team of initiators for the construction research center "LAB - Living Art of Building" and Professor of Civil Engineering at TU Dresden.

Five days before the Bundestag elections, we are giving you the opportunity to talk to 8 members of parliament and candidates for the Bundestag elections about the importance of building research and the current status of the foundation of "LAB - Living Art of Building".

LAB - Living Art of Building is a new type of large-scale research center that will lay the foundations for climate-neutral and resource-efficient construction and achieve the urgently needed paradigm shift for sustainable, safe and affordable construction. The foundation is based on a cross-party decision by the German Bundestag and is long overdue.
