The School of Civil and Environmental Engineering is marked by a wide spectrum of international degree courses offered. These international courses exist at each faculty of the School; the curriculum is being extended on a perment basis.

The School of Civil and Environmental Engineering has built up an ever more closely meshed global network. Our know-how in this field is an ideal prerequisite for international cutting-edge research.

The international community is still facing urgent global climate and environmental problems. In this context, the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) with funds from the Federal Foreign Office is supporting the establishment of global centers for the interdisciplinary networking of science, policy, economy and civil society for an effective transfer of research results into practice.

The School's International Office manages and supervises the internationalisation process, supports overarching individual projects and is in charge of international aspects of administrative processes. Various services are provided.

For better orientation within the internationalisation process, the School has developed a strategy. In connection with the implementation plan, this strategy defines common goals and analyses, accompanies, prioritises and links international activities. Against the backdrop of continuous changes and the experience gained, the strategy is subject to a corrective discourse as well as cyclic evaluation and update.
