Interoperables flughafenzentriertes Flugverkehrsmanagement (i-FFF)
The project i-FFF is based on the results achieved during the collaborative project Kooperatives Air Traffic Management (K-ATM). The objective is a sustainable improvement of the air traffic processes in Germany in order to establish a continuous and consistent planning of the airside processes at airports. The research project of the Chair Traffic Flow Science belongs to the cluster "An- und Abflug" which aims among others at the enhancement of arrival and departure management system. Essential element of the research project is the expansion of the functions of the FlowManager (FMAN) which is the optimisation kernel of the Cooperative Local Resource Planer (CLOU). The static FMAN planning will hereby be extended in order to allow the reproduction of the traffic situation being dynamically in change. Moreover, the quality of the FMAN planning will upgraded by the integration of the dependencies between the inbound and the outbound traffic caused by aircraft circulations.
