Where? - Dresden!
Welcome to Dresden!
With its 550.000 residents, the provincial capital of Dresden has a lot to offer.
Culture
Culturally, Dresden has more to offer than almost any other city: trendy bars and restaurants as well as cabarets in the Neustadt (New Town), various museums and the historic city center in the Altstadt (Old Town). As the unofficial capital of student clubs, Dresden provides an exciting nightlife. The Elbe River, Saxon Switzerland, and the Ore Mountains attract visitors to Dresden's countryside. Larger cities can also be reached quickly and easily from our main station (such as Prague, Berlin, Leipzig and Wroclaw).
The topic of traffic and transport is omnipresent in Dresden. Besides being the only faculty of traffic and transport sciences in Germany, there are various students groups, called "listige" associations, who consider mobility and transportation from every angle. They are amed after the faculty's namesake "Friedrich List".
Accommodation
With its comparably low living costs and rents, Dresden is ranked among the most livable cities in Germany.
