Faculty awards: Congratulations to the awardees!
The winners of the Dr. Feldbausch Prize, the Dr. Händel Prize and the Deutsche Bundesbank Prize have been announced. The faculty awards were presented on May 18, 2022 on the Faculty Day. The following young scientists received an award this year:
Dr. Feldbausch Prize for outstanding dissertations
Dr. Katja Bley receives the award for her dissertation on "A Configurational Theory-based Approach to Maturity Model Development in Information Systems Research". Katja Bley is a postdoc at the Chair of Business Information Systems, esp. Information Systems in Trade and Industry. She is currently spending a research stay at NTNU Trondheim, Norway with Professor Ilias O. Pappas.
Dr. David Schönheit from the Chair of Enery Economics is awarded for his dissertation on "Short and Mid Term Uncertainties Affecting the Trade and Transmission of Electricity with a Focus on Flow Based Market Coupling".
Dr. Händel Prize
This prize supports projects that aim to initiate and intensify international cooperations in teaching and research.
Dr. Sebastian Oelrich from the Chair of Management Accounting and Control receives the award for a research stay at Aarhus University, where he wants to conduct research on the project "The Good, the Bad, the Ugly: Sustainability Reporting in the Fashion Industry".
Mattis Altmann from the Chair of Information Management is awarded for the project VALEU-X (partnership with the EPOKA University of Applied Sciences from Tirana, Albania). The prize money will be used to invite Dr. Esmir Demaj to Dresden.
Prize of the Deutsche Bundesbank
The prize is aimed at young researchers who are related to the Bundesbank's goals in their research and would like to spend a guest stay abroad or to invite a international researcher to TU Dresden.
Dr. Gunda Alexandra Detmers from the Chair of International Monetary Economics receives the award for a research stay at Bank Negara Malaysia and Asia School of Business in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
