Range of modules
The full range of compulsory elective modules is listed in Annex 1 to the Examination Regulations. Specialization
There are specializations in the four areas of Business Administration, Economics, Business Education and Management Training and Supplementary Studies. These are
Which modules belongto which specializations can be found in the table (Annex 2 to the study regulations). In principle, a module can be assigned to several specializations at the same time, even in different areas. Depending on the content match, this assignment is primary or secondary.
Choice of specialization
You are not obliged to choose any of the above-mentioned specializations! Instead, you decide which individual modules you wish to take and to which specialization they should be assigned on your Bachelor's certificate. Of course, you must observe the point limits for the areas of Business Education and Management Training, Business Administration and Economics. Modules count for the area from which the chosen specialization originates. Please also note that in the field of Business Education and Management Training, at least 10 credit points must always come from primarily assigned modules in order to fulfill the point limit! This applies to both fields of study.
If you have completed a sufficient number of modules that belong to a specialization, you can have this specialization indicated on your certificate as a major or minor.
- A major requires at least 30 credit points of modules from the specialization, at least 20 of which must be from primary modules
- For a minor, modules from the specialization amounting to at least 20 credit points are sufficient, at least 15 of which must be from primary modules.
Depending on your choice, several majors and/or minors (or none at all) may appear on your certificate!
