Equipment
The Molecular Imaging and Manipulation Facility offers a range of devices and techniques, which are mainly aimed at single-molecule studies. Currently, the following techniques are available:
Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM) | Topography imaging, Force spectroscopy and molecular manipulation |
Spinning Disk Confocal Microscopy |
High-speed 3D confocal imaging |
Superresolution Localization Microscopy (PALM/STORM/...) |
Superresolution fluorescence imaging |
Total Internal Reflection Fluorescence Microscopy (TIRF) |
Structural imaging and single-molecule tracking with improved fluorescence signal-to-noise ratio and thus high localization precision |
Fluorescence Recovery after Photobleaching (FRAP) |
Evaluation of molecular dynamics |
Epi-Fluorescence, DIC, Darkfield and Brightfield |
Standard wide-field imaging |
If you are already a user of the MIM Facility you can make reservations in the booking calendar of the CMCB Technology Platform
