TU Dresden Invention Support programme
The Inventor Support programme at TU Dresden aims to provide material and non-material support to TU Dresden researchers to ensure the rapid conversion of their ideas into intellectual property rights in order to harness the innovative potential at TU Dresden for commercial exploitation and development in companies.
The PIZ Dresden® supports the entire process of research from idea to exploitation with special services in close cooperation with other colleagues of the Center of Excellence for Innovation, Transfer and Entrepreneurship (TUD|excite).

Every independent inventor can take advantage of a half-hour free initial consultation with a patent attorney on all questions concerning IP rights. These consultations are arranged by the Patent Information Centre and take place by telephone every Thursday between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. until further notice. Pre-registration by telephone or in person is required!
