Vocational work

The lectures and seminars in the vocational work module focus on teaching students about and examining typical professions in construction technology, wood technology, color technology, interior design and surface technology. Students analyze typical occupational work tasks and derive educationally relevant content of occupational work. They also gain an overview of the learning venues of vocational education and training as well as well-founded approaches to the content and methodological design of vocational learning processes at these venues. After completing the module, students will be able to identify educational requirements in the context of work tasks (factual and practical knowledge) and structure the content logically. They will also be able to justify the different potentials of curriculum analysis and work analysis induced by vocational didactics.
