Our research unit is committed to questions about organisation, structure, systematization and improving of vocational education and training (VET)—with a special focus on the European countries—by providing timely research to inform public policy decisions. Focussing on the national and comparative perspective of education development our research unit is searching for relevant questions about adult and vocational education. Supra- and international processes about the national education system and the interface between other politic- and research fields (e.g. labour market-, social- and migration policies or research fields) are subjects of great interest which are meant to be affected and changed sustainably.
