The game concept of the EscapeRoom "Food Murder Mystery" was presented in a field report at the annual conference of the Association of Botanical Gardens Germany.

The lecture "Food Systems Transformation" was part of the cross-university lecture series of the Fachgesellschaft Haushalt in Bildung und Forschung e.V.

The lecture "Sustainable nutrition - how can it work?" was held at the vocational school center for hospitality Dresden "Ernst Lößnitzer" as part of the 15th Day of Science.

The BildungsAcker, established through the cooperation of the Chair of Geographic Education and the Junior Professorship of Nutrition and Home Economics/ BBS with the Botanical Garden of the TUD, is part of the Saxon State Exhibition "Education for Sustainable Development" (ESD), which was on display in various educational institutions in the Free State of Saxony in 2022 & 2023.

July 2022: ESD in vocational school teaching - Short question to Jun.-Prof.in Jana Markert
Potatoes, tomatoes or cress: Students studying to become vocational school teachers learn how to grow vegetables sustainably on the campus field in TU Dresden's Botanical Garden. In our "quick question", Junior Professor Jana Markert explains why "education for sustainable development" is so important. On the campus field, students learn in a very practical way how resource-conserving, sustainable food cultivation can succeed and deal with biodiversity and the relationship between humans and nature.
