University School Dresden
The University School Dresden is a pilot project which tests new concepts of learning within a school environment. The full-time day school teaches its students mostly via project work. The University School was established in the summer of 2019 with 200 students in grades 1–5 and now accommodates 500 students in grades 1–7. We are looking for students who are interested in participating in this learning method – in both project work and workshops.
Read the Universtitätsjournal (university newspaper) report “A Workshop for Life” to find out more about the first-year workshop students. You can download a PDF of the article (in German) from the university newspaper online archive: Issue 10/2020, page 4.
If you are interested in finding out more, we would be happy to hear from you via email at .
You can also read more at the research project pages on the TU Dresden School of Humanities and Social Sciences website.
The pilot project consists of 3 elements: public primary and secondary school, research project at the Chair of Educational Science with a focus on inclusive education, future training and further education school at TUD. Please activate English subtitles © Universitätsschule Dresden
