We are delighted to announce that an series of open access articles titled "Discourses in/of Disruption" has been released under the co-leadership of Prof. Simon Meier-Vieracker (PI of the TUDiSC project DiaDisk) in the online journal IDSopen. The article is a result of the 12th conference of the network “Diskurs – interdisziplinär”. The series starts from the basis that disruptions in discourse become most visible when established structures are challenged. From this, the collection of essays analyze the concept of disruption, emphasizing both ongoing patterns and the unpredictability of discursive events. The contributors aim to understand how social and knowledge systems influence each other through the lens of disruptions. The essays cover various historical periods and social contexts, showcasing the effectiveness of discourse analysis in studying these disruptions.
