MENTORING PROGRAMME FOR THE FIRST SEMESTER

The mentoring programme at the Institute of Sociology helps students to have an easier start into their studies and offers support during their first weeks at TU Dresden. Experienced students will accompany you during those first weeks and will be happy to give you individual advice on all questions concerning your studies and student life.

The allocation to a mentor takes place at the end of the central welcoming event of the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Science. There, you will briefly get to know each other, exchange contact details with your mentor, and discuss the next steps. Afterwards you will have enough time to make it to the pub crawl in Dresden-Neustadt, which is organised by the Faculty Student's Council.
