The John Dewey Research Center for the Didactics of Democracy (JoDDiD) at "Dresden isst bunt" - 5th guest meal for everyone

Together with the State Ministry of Justice and for Democracy, Europe and Equality, JoDDiD took part in the event "Dresden isst bunt" on the Neustädter Markt on September 13, 2021.

The aim of the event is to create a place of togetherness, with space for discussions and encounters. People from very different areas and backgrounds can exchange ideas while eating together.

To this end, JoDDiD provided a colorful hands-on stand where visitors to the event talked animatedly with each other, drew colorfully and stamped wildly on questions of extracurricular political education. A particular highlight were the JoDDiD voting tubes, which encouraged a controversial dialog between young and old on the question "Kann man Politik essen?".
