New JoDDiD evening school episode
A new episode of the John Dewey Evening School is online!
In this Prof Lecture, Prof. Dr. Anja Besand explores a central question of our field: When is political education actually good?
It is about quality criteria for political education and how they are to be understood. On the one hand, there is the Beutelsbach Consensus, and on the other, didactic principles and central educational goals. That sounds very dry - but it's not. Because all principles and concepts are presented using examples and related to the practice-oriented question of how political education succeeds - or conversely, where it fails. In our view, this is one of the most important consequences for evening school beginners and is extremely fundamental for everything that follows. You can find the new evening school play here.
