New research center for the didactics of democracy founded
The John Dewey Research Center for the Didactics of Democracy is founded at TU Dresden. This innovation center in the field of political education will research, develop and make visible new formats, methods and teaching concepts. It supports Saxon stakeholders in extracurricular political youth and adult education in the preparation, new development and implementation of political education programs based on scientific findings and the latest didactic methods.
Saxony's Minister of Democracy Katja Meier, the Rector of TU Dresden Professor Dr. Ursula M. Staudinger and the project manager Professor Anja Besand are delighted to be able to present the new Institute. Minister of State Katja Meier will take this opportunity to present the corresponding funding decision.
