#14 Color by numbers DELUXE

"I'm tired" is something you hear a lot these days - the feeling of tiredness and anger and describes how many of us feel after more than a year of the pandemic. All the beauty and strength seems to have disappeared. And all that remains is the gray daily grind. You have to do everything on your own - but it would be so nice to do something together. High time to set a colorful counter-impulse.

The idea is a community project. A project in which many people work together, regardless of their social status, origin or political affiliation. A space for encounters. A large public space in the middle of the city. First a white wall. Then filled with color. A large work of art.

In order to make access as low-threshold as possible, the project follows the principle of "color by numbers". The large white wall in the public space is pre-structured by various boxes with small numbers. There are flyers explaining the project and numbered paint pots that can be picked up and used to fill a box. In the end, the result is a work of art that beautifies the surroundings and connects all its artists without violating social distancing rules or contact restrictions. Because it is also political, creating space for a good moment, a smile and community.
