Central introductory event
The central introductory event of the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Science will take place on Monday, October 7, 2024, 9:20 a.m. (Room HSZ/02/E), You can expect a welcome lecture by the Dean of Studies Prof. Dr. Gisela Hürlimann.
Furthermore, there will be introductory events for all degree programs and subjects offered by the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Science, which will take place from Thu. 2.10. to Thu. 9.10.2024. Here you will find an overview, further down you will find more information on the pages of the institutes/subjects. The events usually last 90 minutes, dates marked in bold last longer.

Introductory events of the Faculty Student Councils
The Faculty Student Councils PHIL and PIG represent the students at the faculty. The first semester introductory week of the two Faculty Student Councils complements the degree programs and offers numerous opportunities to get to know new fellow students and support them in starting their studies, e.g. with city and campus tours and the timetable brunch.
