Stay abroad
Students of the Faculty of Linguistics, Literature and Cultural Studies have many opportunities to supplement their studies in Dresden by studying abroad or spending time abroad:
- All students can spend part of their studies at a foreign university via the ERASMUS+ program or other university cooperation programs and have the coursework completed there credited towards their studies upon their return to TU Dresden.
- It is possible to enrol in one of the integrated binational degree programs (Doppia Laurea with the Università degli Studi di Trento) of the SLK faculty and thus obtain a domestic and foreign university degree at the same time.
- Students can receive credit for an internship abroad as part of the partially prescribed AQua internship of the SLK Faculty's Bachelor's degree program.
A stay abroad does not entail any disadvantages. On the contrary, there are numerous support options:
- Students can take leave of absence from TU Dresden for the duration of their stay abroad.
- Stays abroad during the lecture-free period can be credited as part of the partially prescribed AQua stay abroad of the SLK faculty's Bachelor's degree program.
- Students can make initial contacts abroad via the TU Dresden's regional ambassadors. Regional ambassadors provide support in various aspects and make the start abroad easier.
- On the website of the International Centers of the SLK Faculty you will find further information on French-speaking, Latin American or Italian further education opportunities.
