Stay abroad
Students of the Faculty of Linguistics, Literature and Cultural Studies have a variety of opportunities to supplement their studies in Dresden by studying abroad or spending time abroad:
- Exchange semester: all students can spend part of their studies at a partner university outside Germany as part of Erasmus+, TUDweltweit or faculty collaborations and have the coursework completed there credited towards their degree after returning to TU Dresden.
- Double Master's degree: It is possible to enrol in one of the integrated binational degree programs (Doppia Laurea with the Università degli Studi di Trento) of the SLK faculty and thus obtain a domestic and foreign university degree at the same time.
- Internships abroad: Students can also apply for internships abroad. Here, too, there is the possibility of funding through Erasmus+ - information on this can be found at the Leonardo Office. Internships can also be credited as part of the partially prescribed AQua internship of the SLK faculty's Bachelor's degree program.
Information & advice
Many questions arise when preparing for a study visit to another country. For this reason, the International Coordination Office offers consultation hours twice a week as well as general information events.
There are also events for students who have been offered a place at a partner university to prepare for and plan their semester. The information can also be found in the respective presentations:
