Plan “Equal Opportunities in the School of Engineering Sciences” approved by the School Committee!
After the Equal Opportunity Plan of the School of Engineering Sciences had already been positively received in all 3 faculty councils of the Schools in advance, the School Committee voted 35x yes, 1x no and 1x abstention in the meeting on October 30, 2020.
The Officers of the Equal Opportunities Teams of the three faculties and the School of Engineering Sciences, as well as the School spokesperson Prof. Beckmann and the heads of the School, we involved in the development of the plan. After agreeing on the framework conditions (period of validity and fields of action), the project was presented to the members of the faculty councils of all three faculties. All members of the School of Engineering Sciences were called upon to participate in the discussion. In order to enable the exchange of documents and information across the School, the SharePoint platform “Equal Opportunities and Diversity” was set up in the School of Engineering Sciences and the Equal Opportunities Officers of the faculties were again named as contact persons.
