First TUD Young Investigator at the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering
Dr. Erika Covi, scientist at NaMLab, was appointed by the rectorate of TUD as the first "TUD Young Investigator" at the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering. This status is intended to counteract structurally induced disadvantages and to integrate excellent, independent junior research group leaders more strongly into the respective faculties at the science location Dresden. With her expertise, Mrs. Dr. Covi will in future integrate well-founded knowledge into the faculty and offer need-based qualifications.
Mr. Pof. Dr.-Ing. Thomas Mikolajick is at the same time holder of the chair of nanoelectronics and scientific director at NaMLab. For this reason, there is a close cooperation between the chair, which belongs to the Institute of Semiconductors and Microsystems at the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering, and NaMLab gGmbH.
