National Taiwan University of Science and Technology visits TU Dresden and the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering

TU Dresden had the honor of receiving a high-ranking delegation from the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (Taiwan Tech) led by President Prof. Jia-Yush Yen on November 15, 2023. In addition to a welcome from the Rector and cooperation talks with the Chief Officer Technology Transfer and Internationalization, the agenda included an appointment at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology. Dean Prof. Karlheinz Bock and Dean of Studies Prof. Thomas Mikolajick presented the faculty, focusing in particular on semiconductor research and the range of courses on offer. In the subsequent meeting, the participants discussed potential opportunities for cooperation and agreed on concrete steps for future collaboration. The event was rounded off with a tour of the NaMLab.
