Prof. Dr.-Ing. Thomas Mikolajick on the Clarivate Highly Cited Researchers List

Each year, Clarivate™ identifies the world's most influential researchers ─ the few chosen ones who have been cited most often by their peers over the past decade. In 2022, fewer than 7,000, which means 0.1% of the world's researchers in 21 research areas and across multiple disciplines, received this exclusive honor. Carivate is known in the research community for calculating the impact factor by using data from its Web of Science family of products. This includes services/applications such as Publons, EndNote, EndNote Click and ScholarOne. Other product families include Cortellis, DRG, CPA Global, Derwent, MarkMonitor, CompuMark, and Darts-ip, as well as ProQuest's various products and services.

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Thomas Mikolajick, professor of nanoelectronics at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology at TU Dresden and scientific director of the TU Dresden subsidiary NaMLab gGmbH is listed in the 2022 edition of the "Clarivate Highly Cited Researchers" list. This places him in the group of scientists with exceptional research impact, as evidenced by the production of numerous highly cited articles that rank in the top 1% of citations by field and year on the Web of Science.

Mikolajick says: "True, it is my name that is included in the list. But the success is of course due to the team of senior scientists and PhD students that I have the pleasure of leading."
