Connecting Female Scientists
Energy Storage Systems
As a link between the energy generation and consumption, energy storage systems are a key element to the successful transition to sustainable energy systems of the future. Due to the variety of energy storage systems, including electrical, thermal, chemical and mechanical types, this field compels scientists of different disciplines and specializations to come together in order to develop optimized systems. The Summer School provides a forum for female scientists to exchange ideas on this fascinating topic.
The “Connecting Female Scientists” Summer Schools offers the opportunity:
- To learn about and discuss various interdisciplinary aspects of energy storage systems
- To develop and establish a professional network with likeminded individuals who face similar challenges in the landscape of STEM-disciplines
- To get inspired by the career paths of other female scientists
- To act as role models and experts for the following generation of students
